This was a nice one.  The Devil Rays scored three runs off of B.J. Ryan no less to win it 6-5.   Delmon Young hit a huge two run shot to tie it and then B.J. Upton singled home Akinori Iwamura for the game winning run.

Iwamuri was a perfect four for four with two runs while Ty Wigginton had two hits, two runs and an RBI.  On the mound, James Shields had a decent start but he didn’t get a decision.  He gave up three runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings of work.  Jae Kuk Ryu ended up with the win after he got the final four outs.

Casey Fossum throws for the Devil Rays tomorrow.  Man it’d be nice to pick up a couple more early wins although Fossum does give me a ton of confidence.
