Roy Halladay to Much for Rays

by @ 5:28 am. Filed under 2007 Devil Rays

This was a pretty good pitching matchup but Scott Kazmir was on the short end of the stick in his second poor start. He did strike out ten but he gave up four runs on six hits and two walks in seven innings of work.

Rocco Baldelli was the hitting star.  He went three for four with a homerun and two runs scored.  Delmon Young went two for three with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI.

Still, the Rays are one win away from .500 again and Edwin Jackson will try to make that happen. It’ll be his first start of the season in the series opener at Texas tonight.
